Vacations to the Orlando area and even staycations over the years have consistently brought us back to Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek. Club Wyndham Bonnet creek is set on a beautiful 500 acre property and surrounds a 10 acre lake creating picturesque views and making it a beautiful backdrop to your Orlando staycation.
Accommodations at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek
Wyndham Bonnet Creek’s condo-like suites offer one-, two-, three-, and four- bedroom options. Inside each suite you’ll find a full kitchen, full dining, living room, and laundry space. On our last stay we chose a two bedroom suite that was just over 1,200 square feet. The first bedroom was a complete master suite with king sized bed, a nice size closet, a dresser, and connecting bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate standing shower. The second bedroom housed two double beds, another good size closet and a dresser and had a bathroom right next door. It gave plenty of space for our family of four to have our privacy when we needed it.
We love to all cook together, and that doesn’t change much on vacation either, so the full kitchen is a great place to prepare meals together and to prepare the endless snacks we needed for the long days at the theme parks. On rainy days we stayed in and the full size dining table was the spot for gathering not only for meals but board games and puzzles too.
The balcony is located just off the living room and has an amazing view of the lake, and leaving the doors open brought a nice indoor outdoor feel to the space. The living room had ample space to gather as a family as well as a sleeper sofa, so additional guests would have had plenty of room to stay.
The two bedroom suite will sleep up to eight while the four bedroom suite would be a great option for multigenerational vacations as it is around 2,000 square feet and can sleep up to fourteen.
Activities at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek
The resort offers a full schedule of free activities such as movies on the lawn, yoga, and scavenger hunts and other daily activities available for a small fee. The 5 pool complexes, waterslides, and a lazy river make days in the sun fun and never boring, because who wants to hear that one more time, am I right? One of the pools even has a pirate ship!
A putt putt course, shuffleboard, sand volleyball, ping pong tables, and playground are all situated nicely around the lake. Indoors you’ll find an arcade as well as an indoor fitness rooms.
If going for a run is your thing, a walking/jogging path also runs around the lake. If you’re taking the kiddos along for the run, no worries, the path is big enough for walkers and joggers to enjoy with double strollers in tow as well.
