FAVO: PARTY FORTH IN MAY What better way to celebrate the 4th of May than with a fun, FREE evening at FAVO? Faith Arts Village Orlando is the place where The City Beautiful’s best and brightest gather for art parties from 5 to 9 pm on the first Friday of every month.
This free festival celebrates our normal First Friday of the Month with Cinco de Mayo. A portion of New Broad Street will be closed to thru traffic and attendees will be able to stroll the festival with drinks in hand, taking advantage of the live music, artist/vendor booths, food, and libations.
Bring your kids over any Friday at 6:00 PM for plaster painting, pizza and fun! Each child may choose two plaster pieces to paint. Also included is pizza and juice or water to drink.

The City of Casselberry is joining the City of Maitland, Winter Park, Orlando, Town of Eatonville, Bike/Walk Central Florida, FDOT, and other partners for another Bike 5 Cities! As part of this, Casselberry will be hosting Bike Casselberry at Wirz Park (806 Mark David Blvd) from 9AM-Noon.
Join a local snake expert as he gives an introduction to and dispels some of the myths about these often misunderstood, cold blooded residents! You will have the opportunity to meet and hold some of the native snakes that live in our area. The program will end with a hike.
ROCK’s monthly rocket launch is held on the first Saturday of each month. ROCK is a section of the National Association of Rocketry and provides launch pads and controllers as well as a safe and legal place to fly your model rockets
It’s a family friendly Cinco de Mayo celebration! The fiesta will feature street tacos on the grill crafted by our very own Chef Thomas! Zip line and pony rides are offered from 12:00 to 3:00. Hayrides, bounce pillow, mazes, petting zoo and play areas will be available all day.
A variety of city vehicles will be available for children to safely climb, sit and play inside. Hot dogs, games and prizes are also included. Parent supervision is required. This activity is recommended for children 10 years of age and under.
