If you are looking for things to do this weekend in Orlando, then we have got you covered.
If you have little ones, they love to meet Santa and tell them all 500 things that are on their list for Christmas. Here’s a list of Santa Breakfasts taking place in the area, where kids can meet Santa. Here’s a tip, tell the kiddos to give Santa their top 3 items only so they can really get what they want for Christmas. It will also make shopping easier for you with such a short list!
Want to see Christmas lights, then head to deck the downtown in downtown Orlando; take a stroll through the streets and see the businesses all lit up. You can also get some of the aforementioned shopping done here. You can also head over to Lake Eola Park to see their Eola Wonderland Christmas Showwith music and lights; the show takes place multiple times for the day.
Baby, It’s Cold Outside
If you would like some more cold in your Christmas, then you might want to hit the ice and go Ice Skating. You could also visit Gaylord Palms and take a stroll through their ICE exhibit, go sledding or enjoy a snowball fight. You can also head over to Now Snowing at Celebration Town Center and enjoy nightly snowfalls.
There are discounts for ice skating in Orlando on Groupon.
Want to head to a show? The Singing Christmas Trees is playing multiple times this weekend at First Baptist Orlando. The Orlando Opera is performing Amahl and the Night Visitors which is a perfect first opera for kids as it is sung in English. Annie is playing at the Garden Theatre and Scrooge the Musical is playing at Osceola Arts.
Let’s Go for a Ride
Want to relive the Polar Express Movie, then take the kids to Tavares Station to take a ride on their Polar Express and meet Santa at the North Pole. This is a little bit of a drive outside of Orlando. You can also take the kids to Green Meadows Farm where you can board the Jingle Bell Express and ride through the twinkling forest.
