This weekend kicks off the beginning of July and summer is definitely heating up in Orlando, in more ways than one. This weekend let the kids run free at The Little Gym, attend a family movie at Lake Eola, do some yoga, learn about ladybugs or attend a cooking class. Whatever you do enjoy!

Friday Family Films at Morse Museum

This 90-minute program includes a short film, a tour of selected galleries at the Morse, and an art project related to the Museum’s collection.  Reservations required.

Kissimmee: Parent & Tot Free classes at Sportsrock Gymnastics

Thru the use of music and props, we will introduce Gross motor skills (ie. Big Movements) like marching, running, jumping, stomping, hanging, climbing, under, over, through, etc. We will also incorporate Eye/Hand Coordination activities, as well as Pre-Gymnastics skills like rolling, swinging, jumping, balancing and the shapes used through every level of gymnastics.

Orlando Museum of Art Family Yoga

Come de-stress with your kids (ages 3 and up) and enjoy an hour-long yoga class that includes fun games, music, and stories. Doing yoga as a family promotes health and well-being, and provides tools to use back at home to relax, manage stress and emotions, and be more focused on the present moment.

Ladybug Festival at Santa’s Farm

25,000 hungry ladybugs are ready to be released into the field to feast on the aphid insects that destroy our Christmas trees. Ladybug releases are scheduled for 1:00 and 3:00. Everyone attending will receive their own container of ladybugs to release.
