Lakeland Carnival

This family-friendly event features midway rides for all ages from whimsical kiddie rides to state-of-the-art thrill rides, carnival games and favorite fair food. Parking and admission are free. Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36 inches and taller) are $25. (All Weekend)

Harry P. Leu Gardens Family Fun Night

This self-pace hike includes learning stations, a bug house and scavenger hunt to find Ribbit the Exhibit II sculptures. The evening includes an art project, night creatures, and stars. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

The Office of Emergency Management will host Touch-a-Truck as a kick-off for Severe Weather Awareness Week.  The event will take place on the Sanford Riverwalk.  This is a children and family friendly event with fire trucks, police cars, buses, helicopters, ambulances, public works trucks, and much much more.

Family Movie Night at Old Town

Bring the entire family to watch free movies on a big screen. Old Town will play family-friendly movies and classics every Sunday night. Bring a chair, grab some snacks at your favorite Old Town store, and spend the night watching a movie underneath the stars.

Free Family Fun Day at Mennello Museum of American Art

Every second Sunday of the month is Free Family Funday! From 12 – 2:30 p.m., join us at the museum for a miniature fine art project and then take a Tenacious Tour of the exhibits! Each Free Family Funday has a different theme based on the current exhibition in the museum.

Tinkergarten Trial Class

This trial class is: Designed for children ages 18 months-8 years. Child/children are accompanied by an adult. Siblings of any other age are most welcome. Limited to the first 15 families who register. Kids may get a bit messy (Hurrah!), so please send them in clothing that can get dirty.
