Central Florida Zoo: Asian Lantern Festival
The Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild is the only event in Central Florida celebrating the culture, art, and beauty of traditional lantern festivals celebrated throughout Asia for centuries.
Experience the sights, sounds and aromas of the electrifying midway with rides for all ages from whimsical kiddie rides to state-of-the-art thrill rides, carnival games and favorite fair food. Carnival parking and admission are free.

Casselberry September Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar
Bailey Callahan returns to Central Florida to perform a variety of music and entertainment at the monthly Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar in Casselberry.
United Against Poverty is excited to welcome families of all abilities to our Family Volunteer Night! Attendees will come together in the spirit of service and complete real-world tasks that make an impact. Activities include stocking, organizing and cleaning shelves, helping prepare for special events and more.
Friday 4-D Barrel Racing at windy Acres Farms
Registration begins at 6 pm with exhibitions till 7:46 $5.00 grounds fee, $25 per ride, exhibitions $3 4 for $10. 3-D Poles $10. Spectators free!

This Kids Cooking Connection clinic will focus on the basics of cooking and baking. Chefs will practice chopping followed by putting their hard work in a personal pasta dish. Chefs will then learn to properly read a recipe, measure, and bake their own cupcakes.

On the Road to Otronicon – Create your Own Galaxy with Tynker Solar System
In partnership with Orlando Science Center and on the road to Otronicon; This free two-hour workshop where students ten and older use block coding to program a moving model of the Solar System with Tynker.
Midici will host Pizza with a Princess on Saturday, January 11th from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. All kids are welcome to take part in this free event. Children will have the chance to meet the princess, take a photo and color a picture.
Visit Rollins this Saturday for an art tour at The Cornell Fine Arts Museum. Meet your docent in the front education gallery at 1 p.m. Free admission courtesy of PNC Financial Services Group.

Free Family Fun Day at Mennello Museum of American Art
Every second Sunday of the month is Free Family Funday! From 12 – 2:30 p.m., join us at the museum for a miniature fine art project and then take a Tenacious Tour of the exhibits! Each Free Family Funday has a different theme based on the current exhibition in the museum.
Live, Virtual & Constructive basketball training in the OHoops Lab
The OHoops Mission is to advance the image and ability of potential basketball players, by promoting, motivating, training and instructing. Intense repetition of proper fundamental and advanced skills, while having fun, is how kids mentally and physically prepare to compete at their highest potential.
Bring the entire family an outdoor movie night. Old Town will play family-friendly movies and classics every Sunday night. Bring a chair, grab some snacks at your favorite Old Town store, and spend the night watching a movie underneath the stars.
