The holiday season is in full swing in Orlando. This is one of my favorite times of the year with beautiful displays and wonderful smells. Make sure to get out this weekend in Orlando and enjoy some of the amazing holiday activities, including the Singing Christmas Trees, Holiday Train Lights and Santa’s Enchanted Forest. The Christmas Tree Forest at Disney is definitely a must see. Just make sure to get there right before the sun goes down to skip the line.
3rd Annual Holiday Train Lights Fundraiser to benefit the Osceola Council on Aging. Ride on a real train (inch and a half scale) through 150,000+ holiday lights and 85+ inflatables and arrangements. Parking is $10 per car (Cash Only at Gate) and additional donations are encouraged. (All Weekend)
Join us at the farm for Santa’s Enchanted Forest and Holiday Scavenger Hunt. The Enchanted Forest will open on Saturday, December 8th. We will be open from 6pm until 10pm on the following dates: December 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd. (Friday and Saturday)
From its beginning over three decades ago, the Trees have become one of Central Florida’s most loved and spectacular traditions. The Singing Christmas Trees is an exciting presentation of Christmas classics featuring a huge choir, full orchestra, dance, powerful drama and a beautiful display of 250,000 lights on our two 45-foot-tall Christmas Trees. Join us for a Chocolate House Making Party this weekend in Orlando! It’s great for date night or small families. Cost is $75/house, and up to three people can attend for this fee. Party is from 7-8:30pm and we’ll be scheduling them on 12/7, 12/8, 12/14 and 12/15.
Since 2013 United Against Poverty Orlando has hosted Family Volunteer Night (FVN) on the second Friday of every month from 5pm to 8pm at our downtown campus. Projects for all ages, pizza and hard work.
Junior Nature Explorers at Mead Botanical Garden, Winter Park. Children 3 – 6 years old and their grown-up are invited to join in on new fun! Guided by Ms. Linda Jakubisin, Jr. explorers will experience a fun hike through the Garden and a nature activity and/or craft.
Bring your kids over any Friday at 6:00 PM for plaster painting, pizza and fun! Each child may choose two plaster pieces to paint. Also included is pizza and juice or water to drink.
Every Friday- Held at the Mad Science Lab inside of the Oviedo Mall. Includes dinner, science class, crafts, games, movie time, and more! $25/child! For kids 4-12 years old. No need to pre-register- just show up at the door at 6pm!
Children and adults alike will have fun while we do a holiday craft, dance to holiday music, play in the playground and enjoy light holiday refreshments. AND, Saint Nick will pay us a visit to read a holiday story to the kiddos and take pictures for the ages (a real bearded Santa!).
Pint-Sized Science is a drop-off program designed for children ages 3-5 to explore science with their friends. During this three-hour program, they will discover and learn about a range of science topics, from bubbles to physics to machines and gears!
Celebrate this Christmas season with St. Luke’s at our Family Christmas Movie Night. Make handmade Christmas Ornaments for years of enjoyment. Grab a hot dog or two, chips, and drink as you enjoy a Christmas Sing Along with the fantastic and lovable Mickey and Friends.
4 and 5 year olds can join us at The Art Room this Friday for a fun painting class! You will be amazed at what your child can do!

We will be hosting the AKC Patch Program at the biggest dog show of the year! The AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin is considered one of the world’s premiere dog events, which showcases more than 5,000 of the top national and international canine athletes.
