Are you looking to explore outside of your bubble? It is so easy to stick to the usual things you know and love to do. Sometimes it is nice for a change and to explore other areas of Orlando. I-Drive is a great touristy spot that most locals don’t frequent on the regular. It is easy to forget the fun things things to do on International Drive. Now that traveling is restricted and vacations seem to be a bit of a dream, take a daycation and tourist yourself up! Here are a few things to do on International Drive with kids!
Sea Life Aquarium
Have you been to Sea Life Aquarium yet? This beautiful aquarium is a great place to take kids. So many of the creatures that call Sea Life Aquarium home are actually on the endangered species list. From sea turtles, sharks, fish, sea horses, stingrays and more, there are a plethora of interesting sea creatures to check out. My favorite thing about this place is their toddler story time, which is unfortunately temporarily closed due to Covid-19. Though Sea Life Aquarium is still operational and taking precautions, we can’t wait for toddler time to reopen so check their website for updates if you are a fan of toddler time too! They also offer better ticket prices online so you may want to pre-book your tickets ahead of time.

The Wheel at Icon Park
One of the most touristy thing on I-Drive, in my opinion, is The Wheel at Icon Park. This Orlando staple can be seen in the distance from many areas of Central Florida. This 400-foot giant observation wheel is something every Orlando citizen should experience once. Now that the crowds are especially low due to the pandemic, now is a great time to check it out as the line will not be nearly as long as usual.
