 Sea Life Aquarium

Have you been to Sea Life Aquarium yet?  This beautiful aquarium is a great place to take kids.  So many of the creatures that call Sea Life Aquarium home are actually on the endangered species list.  From sea turtles, sharks, fish, sea horses, stingrays and more, there are a plethora of interesting sea creatures to check out.  My favorite thing about this place is their toddler story time, which is unfortunately temporarily closed due to Covid-19.  Though Sea Life Aquarium is still operational and taking precautions, we can’t wait for toddler time to reopen so check their website for updates if you are a fan of toddler time too!  They also offer better ticket prices online so you may want to pre-book your tickets ahead of time.

The Wheel at Icon Park

One of the most touristy thing on I-Drive, in my opinion, is The Wheel at Icon Park.  This Orlando staple can be seen in the distance from many areas of Central Florida.  This 400-foot giant observation wheel is something every Orlando citizen should experience once.  Now that the crowds are especially low due to the pandemic, now is a great time to check it out as the line will not be nearly as long as usual.

Pirate’s Dinner Show

Have you taken your child to a themed dinner show?  If you haven’t, it is the ultimate I-Drive tourist dinner spot!  The Pirate’s Dinner Show is a 90-minute dinner experience sure to wow the kids and parents alike.  Set aboard an 18th century Spanish Galleon, the Pirate’s Dinner Show features incredibly festive music, costumes, action, romance, and aerial stunts.  Be prepared to get in on the action as the audience plays a special role as well.

Fun Spot America

Fun Spot America is your typically perfect I-Drive Amusement Park.  Throw on your tourist gear and mask and gather the family and head to Fun Spot.  From rides, thrills, attractions, cabanas, splash pads and more, your kids are sure to have a fun filled day enjoying the fresh outside air.  There is also a 4 Rivers BBQ that would make for the perfect lunch while there!

Arcade City

With a certificate of excellence on TripAdvisor, Arcade City is more than just a few arcade games.  Known as the “Happiest Arcade on Earth,” Arcade City is sure to bring some fun to your kids’ day.  Located in Icon Park, you could spend hours playing all the many arcade games they have.  Games cost between 25 cents to three dollars depending on the game.  Load money onto a play card and play away!

The Pirate’s Cove Mini Golf

Though there are a few miniature golf places on I-Drive, The Pirate’s Cove is one I highly recommend.  This one is very clean and the course is fun and full of adventure.  It was also voted Orlando’s Best Course in Florida by Orlando Magazine.  With sunken ships, pirate dungeons, waterfalls and lush vegetation, this course is one sure to please your kids!

WonderWorks

WonderWorks is an I-Drive icon.  With 35,000 sq ft, Wonder Works is an amusement park built for the mind.  There are over 100 different hands on exhibits sure to get your imagination going.  Broken into zones, the fun includes the Extreme Weather Zone, Physical Challenge Zone, Space Discovery Zone, Wonder Art Gallery, Light and Sound Zone, and the Imagination Lab.  Do make sure to bring your mask, as these are Mandatory for entrance to Wonder Works.  Head to the basement after exploring these areas to check out the laser tag, ropes course, and 4D simulator.
