Benihana

What themed restaurant list would be complete without Benihana?  Enjoy a delicious teppanyaki meal with all the entertainment that comes along with an energetic chef cooking right in front of you!  This is one of my kids favorite places to eat. They do knife tricks, flip food into your mouth and light things on fire. What’s not to enjoy! Benihana can also accommodate dietary restrictions, just ask.

Location: 12690 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32821
Hours: Daily 11AM-10PM

Ford’s Garage

Take a step back in time at Ford’s Garage. The 1920’s service station themed restaurant includes vintage Ford vehicles, tires, signage, and gas pumps.  Ford’s Garage is known for their burgers, but they’ve also got killer mac and cheese, nachos, wings, pretzels and more. Kids will go gaga over their desserts including their funnel cake fries and peanut butter thunder cake. For the adults, mosey on up to the prohibition style bar for a drink. Make sure you know the password!

Hot Dog Hall of Fame

Oh My Jeter!!  Universal City Walk’s Hot Dog Hall of Fame is right in our backyard.  This outdoor baseball themed restaurant has it all from concession ordering, stadium style seating, bleachers, signage, to turf grass!  This restaurant will make you feel like you are at the game, complete with iconic hot dogs from Chicago to New York, Detroit to L.A. Of course we think the New York dog is the best, but we are a little bit biased.

Location: 6000 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819
Hours: Daily 12PM-9PM

Raglan Road Irish Pub

Raglan Road Irish Pub, located in Disney Springs, is sure to be a fun time for the whole family. True to Irish pub form it is loud, fun, and entertaining!  Raglan Road is an authentic Irish pub. It was fully built in Ireland and then shipped over to Disney Springs! Raglan Road has live music and dancing every day and offers traditional Irish Pub food such as Bangers and Mash, Shepherd’s Pie and Fish and Chips. You can also get American favorites such as Burgers, Roast Chicken and Steak and potatoes. Of course they offer Ale, Whiskey and special Irish libations for the adults. The kids will have to make do with soda and juice. Close out dinner with some bread and butter pudding; it is one of my favorite desserts.

Rainforest Cafe

Eat alongside a gorilla pounding its chest, a trumpeting elephant, or even an alligator deep within the interactive rainforest at The Rainforest Cafe in Disney Springs. Rainforest offers a wide variety of food to make everyone happy including burgers, pasta, seafood, steak, chicken and more. If you like spicy food, the Rasta Pasta is a must. Order the kids an icee in a collectible character cup. It comes in a cute reusable cup with a fun character they can play with during dinner (and later as well). You’ll want to leave room to order a Volcano for a dessert. It is brownies stacked like a volcano filled with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and covered in chocolate and caramel sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Note: There is a faux rainstorm with thunder and lightning that goes off every 30 minutes. All the animals go crazy during the storm. Younger kids might be frightened of the storm and the animal noises.

You’ll find more than just sweets at ICON Park’s Sugar Factory.  Featuring a full menu of fan favorites like Rainbow Sliders and Chicken and Waffles, fill your belly, but don’t forget to save room for the main event!  Insane Milkshakes, and Old Fashioned Sundaes that serve up to twelve are also on the menu.  Mom’s and Dad’s can try out their specialty cocktails complete with gummy bears, ring pops, chocolate covered strawberries or a graham cracker rim.
